Objective: To provide a controlled environment for learners to familiarize themselves with vehicle controls, basic driving skills, and to handle different driving scenarios. Simulator Training

2. Basic Plan

Objective: To teach the fundamental skills required for safe and effective driving.

Activities:

  • Vehicle Safety Checks: Pre-driving checks, understanding the vehicle manual, and basic maintenance tips.
  • Starting and Stopping: Smooth acceleration and deceleration, proper use of mirrors, and blind spot checks.

3. Ground Practice

Objective: To develop maneuvering skills and control in a controlled environment.

4. Road Practice

Objective: To apply learned skills in real-world driving conditions.

Activities:

  • Residential Driving: Navigating through residential areas, understanding speed limits, and pedestrian safety.
  • Urban Driving: Handling traffic lights, stop signs, and busy intersections. Learning to share the road with cyclists and pedestrians.
  • Highway Driving: Merging, changing lanes, maintaining safe following distances, and understanding highway signs.

5. Traffic Practice

Objective: To master driving in different traffic conditions and improve decision-making skills.

  • Rush Hour Traffic: Strategies for dealing with congestion, patience, and maintaining a calm demeanor.
  • Intersection Handling: Right-of-way rules, making safe turns, and handling multi-lane intersections.
